I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2008 with a B.F.A. in Visual Communications 🎓. During my 16 years 📆 in the design field, I've had the privilege to have worked and learned from Studio North, Hans Design, Moira & Company, Aon Hewitt, Quill.com, Merge Design + Interactive, Zeller Marketing & Design, and JupiterOne. Currently, I'm an Art Director at ControlUp ⬆️.

I'm inspired ❤️‍🔥 by modernist graphic design and illustration, antique emblems and logos, Disney, Americana, Paul Rand, Michael Beirut, Frank Lloyd Wright, editorial design, data visualization, motion design, patterns, collages, textures, and much more. I love to learn, experiment and keep up with the latest design and technology trends 📈.

I live in Illinois 🏠 with my wife, two daughters and a floppy-eared beagle 🐶. In my free time, I enjoy listening and learning about old-time, early country, Bluegrass, blues and jazz music. 🎧, picking five-string banjo 🪕 and guitar, running 🏃🏼, eating yummy food 🌮 🍜 and having fun with my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧.
