I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2008 with a B.F.A. in Visual Communications 🎓. During my 16 years 📆 in the design field, I've had the privilege to have worked and learned from Studio North, Hans Design, Moira & Company, Aon Hewitt, Quill.com, Merge Design + Interactive, Zeller Marketing & Design, and JupiterOne. Currently, I'm an Art Director at ControlUp ⬆️.
I'm inspired ❤️🔥 by modernist graphic design and illustration, antique emblems and logos, Disney Imagineering, Americana, Paul Rand, Michael Beirut, Frank Lloyd Wright, editorial design, data visualization, motion design, patterns, collages, textures, and much more. I love to learn, experiment and keep up with the latest design and technology trends 📈.
I live in Illinois 🏠 with my wife, two daughters and a floppy-eared beagle 🐶. In my free time, I enjoy listening and learning about old-time, early country, Bluegrass, blues and jazz music.🎧, picking five-string banjo 🪕 and guitar, running 🏃🏼, eating yummy food 🌮 🍜 and having fun with my family 👨👩👧👧.
